Up to 30 guests
The room is privatised in full and the layout adapted to your group, for a team lunch as well as a more festive evening.

Lebanon, a bridge between East and West: for the length of an evening, reserve the whole room and travel an hour or two around mezze to share, in the heart of Lyon 3.
Booking Layali Beyrouth privately is not renting a standardised venue: it means reserving a family address open since May 2010 at 38 rue du Dauphiné, in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. The whole room becomes yours, up to 30 guests, around Lebanese cuisine prepared that same day. The mezze are set at the centre of the table, passed around, and your event takes on the feel of a true gathering.
“Booking privately means giving your guests a place that takes its time: the room to yourselves, a few dishes of mezze, and an evening that stretches on.”

Produce is chosen fresh each morning, with no stock kept: every service, including a private hire, is prepared for that day's guests.
The room suits a midweek meal as well as an evening that runs late. A few formats we regularly host:
For a dedicated birthday, see also our birthday page, designed in the same convivial spirit.

A private hire at Layali Beyrouth is built around the spirit of the Lebanese meal: cold and hot mezze set at the centre of the table, hummus, tabbouleh, kibbeh, falafels, followed by carefully prepared grills and homemade desserts. Everyone helps themselves, tastes, shares: the meal comes alive and brings together guests who don't always know each other.
The menu is built with you, starting from the dishes already on our menuoften a grill prepared during the day, kafta or chich taouk, sometimes a shawarma sliced on the spot. We don't create dishes beyond our expertise: the idea is to showcase what the house has done best for fifteen years.

It all starts with a chat: you tell us the date you have in mind, the number of guests, the preferred slot and the type of event. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, 12pm, 2pm and 7pm, 11pm, which gives real flexibility to arrange a team lunch or an evening with friends. We then come back to you with a bespoke plan and a proposal to match your budget.
As for access, the restaurant is at 38 rue du Dauphiné in Lyon 3, easy to reach from across the metropolitan area. To picture the reach of the house, you can look at the delivery areas we serve. The simplest way to get started is to call us on 04 72 34 94 05.
