At Layali Beyrouth, the grill is approached just as it is in Lebanon: meat chosen fresh each day, marinated at length, skewered by hand and then seared over the embers. Enjoy it in our dining room in the heart of Lyon 3, as takeaway or delivered.

Our marinades are prepared the night before by our chef qualified in Lebanese cuisine, flavouring the beef, lamb and chicken through and through.

Each skewer is seared over the embers, in the Lebanese tradition, then served dine-in, as Click & Collect, delivery or catering.
Six signature pieces make up our grill menu, from the beef fillet skewer to the traditional shawarma, cooked to order and served with their garnishes.

In Lebanon, a grill is never served alone. It is surrounded by an array of cold and hot mezze, fresh salads and warm Lebanese bread. Our skewers therefore reach the table escorted by their traditional garnishes, red onion, parsley, sumac and lemon, which lift the smoky flavour of the meat without ever masking it.
To build a meal to share, pair your grills with our creamy hummus or a fragrant tabbouleh. Vegetarian guests have their place at the table too, around our mezze.

Among our grills, the chich taouk holds pride of place. This chicken skewer rests on a marinade of yoghurt, garlic and lemon that tenderises the meat and flavours it through. The cubes are skewered by hand and then seared over the embers, a fierce heat that colours the outside while keeping the centre moist.
It is rarely eaten alone: red onion, parsley, a squeeze of lemon, and gladly a spread of mezze. Enjoy it in our dining room at 38 rue du Dauphiné, as takeaway with Click & Collect or delivered in Lyon via Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
