Made every morning
Long-cooked chickpeas, tahini, lemon and olive oil: our hummus is made the same day, never stocked, for a smooth texture and a clean taste.

Lebanon, a bridge between East and West: a cream of chickpeas and tahini, pressed lemon and a drizzle of olive oil, to open the meal like a first journey.
At Layali Beyrouth, hummus opens the table just as it does in Lebanon: a smooth cream of chickpeas and tahini, made the same day from produce chosen fresh. Enjoy it as mezze in the heart of Lyon 3, as takeaway or delivered.
“Hummus is the first bite of a Lebanese meal, the one that welcomes you to the table.”

Hummus is rarely eaten alone: it opens the parade of cold mezze, to share at the start of the meal with Lebanese bread, before the grills and the dishes to build.

Hummus is one of the pillars of Lebanese cuisine: long-cooked chickpeas, mashed and blended with sesame paste, fresh lemon and garlic, eaten at the start of the meal with other cold mezze. At Layali Beyrouth, a family restaurant open since May 2010, this recipe has been carried by the couple at the stove for fifteen years: the chef in the kitchen, his wife in the dining room.

The strength of our hummus comes from a simple principle: buy fresh every morning and work without stock. This discipline, kept by the couple at the stove and in the dining room since opening, ensures the hummus served at lunch was made that same day, no waiting tub, just a smooth cream balanced between the acidity of lemon, the softness of tahini and the roundness of the chickpea.
That same standard runs through our whole Lebanese table. Enjoy it in our dining room at 38 rue du Dauphiné, as takeaway with Click & Collect or delivered in Lyon via Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
