Lebanese click and collect, how it works

Click and collect means enjoying Layali Beyrouth's cooking without booking a table or waiting for a courier: you build your order, agree on a slot with the team, then come and collect it at the restaurant, prepared to order from produce chosen fresh each day.

Chapter · Ordering

Build and place your order

To order click and collect, the simplest way is to call the restaurant on 04 72 34 94 05 during opening hours, Monday to Saturday. You can also write to specify your order or plan a collection for the coming days.

The team then offers you a slot that fits the lunch or dinner service, taking the crowd into account, Friday and Saturday evenings being busier. To plan your visit, go through our contact page or first browse our Lebanese menu.

Chapter · Takeaway

What you can order

Almost all of our menu is available for click and collect. Cold mezze: creamy hummus, parsley-rich tabbouleh, smoked aubergine moutabal and hand-rolled vine leaves. Hot mezze: golden falafels, kibbeh and fatayer prepared to order.

For a heartier meal, the flame-grilled skewers, kafta, taouk, brochettes, are seared to order and packed to keep their juices, and house desserts such as baklava travel easily. See the detail on our hummus, our grill menu or the whole menu.

The collection point

Collect your order at 38 rue du Dauphiné

Collection takes place directly at the restaurant, in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. The area is served by several public transport lines and has public car parks nearby, making a quick pickup easy even at peak times.

On the day, just push the door: your order is waiting at the agreed slot. If click and collect doesn't suit your need, we also offer a classic takeaway service.

Group orders

A lunch at the office, a family meal

Click and collect also works for larger orders: a Sunday family meal, a shared lunch at the office, an impromptu buffet with friends. In that case, order ahead to give the kitchen time to organise the service.

FAQ

Your questions about click and collect in Lyon

How does click and collect work at Layali Beyrouth?
You choose your dishes from the menu, place your order by phone on 04 72 34 94 05 or through the contact page, then agree on a collection slot. On the day, you come and pick up your order at 38 rue du Dauphiné in Lyon 3, ready to take away with no extra wait.
What are the collection hours?
Collections take place during the restaurant's opening hours, Monday to Saturday, between 12pm and 2pm for lunch and between 7pm and 11pm for dinner. On Sunday the restaurant is closed, so no collection is possible that day.
Can the whole Lebanese menu be ordered for click and collect?
Most of the menu is available for takeaway: cold mezze, hot mezze, grills, daily specials and house desserts. Some very delicate preparations may be unsuitable for transport, which the team will point out when you order to guarantee quality on arrival.
How far in advance should you order?
For a smooth click and collect, we recommend calling at least one to two hours before the desired slot, and more for a group order or a family meal. This lets us organise the service in the kitchen while ensuring the freshness of dishes prepared to order.
Where is the collection point?
The collection point is directly at the restaurant, at 38 rue du Dauphiné in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. The area is well served by public transport and has public car parks nearby, making a quick pickup easy.
What is the difference between click and collect and delivery?
Click and collect means coming to pick up your order yourself at the restaurant, with no delivery fee and no middleman. Delivery goes through our partners Uber Eats and Deliveroo, who handle the journey to your home on their respective service areas, according to their own hours.
