A family house
A wine list served in a Lebanese restaurant run by a couple since 2010, where the welcome matters as much as the plate.

Lebanon, a bridge between East and West: a selection of wines to pair with our mezze and grills, to travel for the length of a meal.
At Layali Beyrouth, Lebanese wine is never a standalone product: it extends what you find on the plate. We have put together a short, tasted selection, to discover dine-in in the heart of Lyon 3, paired with our mezze and grills.
“What grows together goes together: the glass extends the plate, and the meal becomes a journey.”

Each reference is meant to speak with our cold mezze, hot mezze and marinated grills, rather than lined up in an endless list.

Our team guides you towards the pairing that fits your meal, whether you come as a couple, a family or a group of up to 30 people.
Lebanon is one of the oldest wine-growing lands in the world, with a history rooted well before Roman times. On the heights of the Bekaa plain, the vines enjoy a sunny climate tempered by altitude: the wines gain a solar, structured signature, at once generous and precise.
Discovering a Lebanese wine in Lyon means opening up to a heritage less known than the Rhône or Burgundy, yet just as rich. It naturally finds its place beside a creamy hummus or an assortment of cold mezze, in the sharing spirit of the Lebanese table.

Lebanese reds, often powerful and spiced, speak especially well with our marinated grills: lamb skewer, kafta or chich taouk. Their tannic structure lifts the caramelised juices of the seared meats and supports the gentle spices of our marinades, without ever overwhelming the palate.
On cold mezze, a fresh, mineral white lifts the olive oils, citrus and fresh herbs; on hot mezze, a dry rosé or a light red holds its own. To go further, let yourself be guided towards our Lebanese grills and build your pairing with our team.
