Every dish has a story

A large table that brings your team together

Layali Beyrouth welcomes Lyon companies for their team lunches, end-of-project dinners and client meetings. Our family cuisine, run since May 2010 by a couple whose husband is a chef qualified in Lebanese cooking, is made for sharing: mezze placed in the middle of the table relax the meeting and bond the group.

“A platter of mezze in the middle of the table, and the lunch shifts tone: everyone reaches in, tastes, talks, the meeting carries on without anyone noticing.”

01 · Why choose us

A venue designed for professional groups

01

Up to 30 guests

Our dining room seats your group at one large table or several tables placed close together, depending on numbers and the mood you're after.

02

Sharing first

Cold and hot mezze served in the centre of the table: a convivial format that breaks the ice far better than an individually plated menu.

03

Fresh every day

Produce is chosen fresh on the very morning and cooked on site, with no dormant stock, the promise of a consistent, lively table.

02 · The formats

From the team lunch to the client dinner

Every professional occasion sets its own rhythm. A team lunch fits the midday service, between 12pm and 2pm; an end-of-project dinner or a client meeting settles into the evening, from 7pm to 11pm. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, and we arrange your business meal on either service depending on the room's availability.

If your team would rather stay at the office, our catering service takes over and delivers mezze, hot dishes and desserts to your premises; a Lebanese buffet dresses your receptions, and a cocktail spread rounds off your afterworks.

Chapter · The spirit of sharing

Why Lebanese food works so well among colleagues

Lebanese cuisine has a precious quality for a company meal: it is meant to be shared. Mezze immediately create a convivial dynamic that relaxes a formal lunch and closes a seminar day on a warm note, far from an intimidating fine-dining setting.

Its other strength is balance. Between vegetable-rich cold mezze, heartier hot mezze, marinated grills and vegetarian options, everyone finds their place, and heads back to work in the afternoon without feeling weighed down.

03 · Planning your visit

How a group booking works

Getting in touch is deliberately direct. A call or a message through our contact page is enough to fix the date, the time and the approximate number of guests. We then discuss the team's preferences, proportion of vegetarian mezze, intolerances, choice of meats, to fine-tune the spread and avoid waste.

  • Choose the date and service, lunch or dinner, Monday to Saturday.
  • Confirm numbers and the formula built around mezze to share.
  • Be welcomed at 38 rue du Dauphiné, minutes from La Part-Dieu.

You can also review our group formulas or opt for the private hire of the room for a full-capacity event.
